Something new is happening at a local faith-based preschool in Allen.  Small Blessings Preschool is doing things a little differently to ensure that working families have the option of placing their youngest members in a faithful environment.

For the uninitiated, most church-affiliated preschools or Mothers Day Out programs offer 9am to 2pm hours on limited days of the week and sometimes only to children over 2 years old.  However, for families that want all the love, safety and comfort of a faith-based preschool AND academics, there is now another option in Allen.

Small Blessings is offering new hours (6:30am to 6:30pm) Monday to Friday – and accepts children as young as 12 months as long as they are walking.  The non-denominational Christian curriculum at Small Blessings currently includes weekly Chapel time and music instruction.  However, as a result of their philosophy of constant evaluation and improvement, they will also be including expanded Spanish instruction and they have plans for incorporating technology and possibly an additional language (Mandarin) if an instructor can be found.

Small Blessings Preschool is located at 821 S. Greenville Avenue at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church and is currently enrolling children 12 months to Pre-K.

You are encouraged to call right away if you are interested as they are a small and intimate non-profit preschool focused on maintaining classroom sizes below state mandated ratios.

You can find them online at www.SmallBlessingsAllen.com or on Facebook at Facebook.com/SmallBlessingsAllen.  Or you can call them 972-396-0038 or email them Director@SmallBlessingsAllen.com.
