Pin Valley National Park is located in the district of Lahaul and Spiti, Himachal Pradesh. It is found in the cold desert area, home to more than 20 species of animals, birds, and the endangered snow leopard. It is a freezing area of Spiti Valley. This park came into existence in 1987 and is a part of the Great Himalayan National Park Conservation Area. It is situated at an average altitude of 5500 meters above sea level.
