About
We’ve created Long Island Interventions to provide an opportunity for those struggling with substance abuse to recover safely. We believe in programs that are solution-focused and evidence-based and our recovery advocates have decades of combined experience.

An alcohol or drug intervention is a procedure in which the addict/alcoholic has been encouraged to find substance misuse treatment. It is directed by an interventionist whose goal would always be to have the individual agree to receive assist and admit he has a drug abuse problem. It's an educational process, usually conducted that involves relatives of the individual.

We are aware that addicts/alcoholics are in denial regarding their substance usage and are unwilling to commit to an inpatient or outpatient treatment system. An intervention ran away with the assistance of professionals to save a person's own life and can alter this. Then you've arrived at the perfect place if you're looking for dependence interventions on Long Island.
