In honor of National Wear Red Day, residents of The Cardinal at North Hills, a premier senior living community, came together for a fashion show that benefited Go Red for Women, the American Heart Association's national movement to end heart disease and stroke in women.  The fashion show was held on February 1 at The Cardinal at North Hills. The event began with keynote speaker Ashley M. Lewis, MD, FACC of Raleigh Heart and Vascular. More than 15 models, all resident of The Cardinal at North Hills, showcased ensembles from Charlotte’s, J.McLaughlin, Lilly Pulitzer and Stylefinder Boutique. Everyone was encouraged to wear red, learn more about heart health and make a Go Red Health Behavior Commitment. As a Kisco Senior Living community, The Art of Living Well® philosophy is in every aspect of community life for residents living at The Cardinal at North Hills. Coming together to raise awareness and money for the Go Red for Women movement was a unique way for the community to give back and help residents focus on wellness. These unique social and wellness opportunities strengthen the mind, body and spirit.
