Wet ‘N’ Wild Splashtown
While the rain is keeping us indoors, we can still dream of sunny days. The newly updated Wet N Wild Splashtown has received a facelift thanks to a multi-million dollar new capital investment aimed at transforming the customer’s experience at Splashtown. Splashtown is located just south of The Woodlands on I-45N. There are three new attractions in the park featuring Wet ‘N’ Wild Jr, Big Kahuna, and Flowrider.
Wet ‘N’ Wild Jr. is an expanded kid’s area that will include “eight exciting water slides, including a double body slide and triple track racer; an extreme gushing spray tower; a continuously drenching waterfall as well as a jumping spray fountains that the little visitors can frolic through.”
Big Kahuna is a mega-tube, serpentine, five person raft-ride that will “blast visitors into a dark, enclosed tunnel filled with a series of unpredictable twists and turns, breathtaking drops, and back-to-back curves.
Flowrider is an innovative surfing experience that “rolls out perfect waves at 35mph, moving 30,000 gallons of water per minute.”

Early bird season tickets are available here for a limited time for $69.99, with discounts for additional tickets available. Day passes start from $35 for adults (online special) and $31 for kids under 48 inches. A few other costs to keep in mind: Parking will run $9.24 if you purchase online, tube rental costs are $25 for the entire season, but will be less at the park for single-day use.
