Emergency Preparedness Event: June 13th from 10am-1pm

Hurricane Season started June 1^st and extends through November 30^th, and just like any other weather season, it is important to be prepared. The Woodlands Township has partnered with Entergy to bring to you their annual Emergency Preparedness Event.

The event will take place Saturday, June 13^th from 10am to 1pm at The Woodlands Township Town Hall, located at 2801 Technology Forest Blvd. The event is free to attend.

There will be presentations on programs like Neighborhood Watch, Water Safety, 2015 Hurricane Predictions from Melissa Huffman of the National Weather Service, as well as an Entergy Arcs and Sparks demonstration. There will also be ongoing activities ranging from exhibitor booths with displays, giveaways and various emergency preparedness videos. Free hot dogs will be provided by H-E-B and will be served by the West Conroe Baptist Church Disaster Relief Ministry.
