Adult Sports Through The Woodlands Township
The Woodlands Township hosts both adult soccer and softball leagues that play on the local sport fields including Alden Bridge Sports Park and the Bear Branch Soccer Fields.
Adult soccer leagues are played in a 7v7 format. There’s a Spring, Summer, and Fall league. Although the summer league is already underway, Fall registration starts July 1st and the season kicks off Sunday, September 6th. To register a team, the fee is $550. Don’t fret if you don’t have a team, you can still sign up as a free agent by clicking here.
You can choose from competitive, recreational, and 35 and over leagues to suit your desired playing level.
Adult softball leagues are also available in a men’s league, as well as co-ed capacity. The softball league works in an 8-week league format with a single-elimination playoff the week after the final regular season games are completed. To register a softball team, the league fees are $450. Again, if you do not have a team that is not a problem, you can sign up as a free agent to be placed on one. Soccer games are played on Sunday Evenings with game times ranging from 6 to 8pm. Co-ed softball games are played Wednesday evenings with game times ranging from 6:30pm to 9:30pm while the men’s softball league is on Thursdays at the same times.
Finally, for the folks just interested in playing a pick-up game, there is an Adult Drop-In game every Wednesday from 8-11pm. The associated cost is $3 to drop in, $20 a session, or $70 a year.
