Village Green in Creekside Park Village Center – Now Open
It’s official. Village Green in Creekside Park Village Center is now Open.
Village Green is a dedicated green-space located in the Creekside Park Village Center at 26400 Kuykendahl Road and is home to The Woodland’s newest park. The addition of Village Green to the park system brings the total count of parks in The Woodlands to 133, and contains the fifth sprayground in the area.
Village Green is nestled in the middle of a roughly 100-acre village center featuring Craftsman style architecture, an H-E-B anchor store and a Walgreens just a short walk away. The new park will be within a short walk or bike ride to an estimated 3,741 households by 2016.
Village Green will serve as a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the day, and allows villagers to slow down and relax with a number of tables and chairs. In order to preserve the conditions of the grounds, Village Green also features an all-weather turf field. Village Green is open to the public from 8am to 8pm.
