The Candy House

I’m a sucker for mom and pop shops. It goes without saying that The Candy House in Panther Creek is a personal favorite. Owned and operated by the kindest gentleman, Mr. Baker, the Candy House offers traditional confectionary treats like saltwater taffy, chocolate morsels, and rock candy alongside modern packaged candies like Fun-Dip and Skittles.

Located just a short walk down Glen Loch Drive from the McCullough Jr. High School, the Candy House is a local favorite. The Candy House is in the same shopping center as Lucky Café and Pizza Tonight.

For a special treat, try some of the homemade fudge in one of the many flavor combinations available. Jawbreakers the size of a baby’s head are also available for those looking for an endurance challenge. Although I have not tried it myself, I have heard great things about their homemade popcorn as well!
