At Woodland Terrace, a senior living community in Cary, the Easter Bunny made an appearance to -from a distance- and waving to residents.

Woodland Terrace’s Area Business Development Director Andrew Caruana, dressed as the Easter Bunny to spread joy and smiles for residents at the community remaining safe and socially distant. He was spotted hopping around the community on Sunday, April 12 between 9:45 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

“Our associates are having fun coming up with unique ideas to keep our residents happy and engaged during this challenging time,” says Matt Towler, executive director at Woodland Terrace, a Kisco Senior Living Community. “We can’t thank Andrew enough for volunteering to give up his Easter Sunday morning to hop around the community.”

Residents also received a little Easter surprise baskets with candy and a cute paper egg Friday April 10 to kick off the holiday weekend. Assisted Living residents got balloons! As a final cherry on top of the festivities, Woodland Terrace live-streamed three different Easter services throughout the day on their in-house TV channel so residents could still participate in an Easter service from the safety of their apartments.

The residents had a blast this weekend and loved seeing the Easter Bunny hop around the community, hanging out in the beautiful courtyard and waving to say hello safely from the other side of the window.
