My name is Ronnie Zint, I am a custom woodworker located just outside the small town of Hillsboro, Texas. Thank you for all the emails inquiring about the headboards and nightstands; they were a gift to my daughter. I build custom wood items based on the needs of my customers. I assure you this headboard was built with safety in mind as a way to guard precious items from children and criminals and not as a tactical access for guns. I have built other items to allow quick access to your valuables (check out the nightstands). Safety of children is of the upmost importance to me; all cabinets are built with keyed locks. All guns should be kept in lock storage and unloaded.

Estimated Costs:

• A king-size headboard out of pine, unfinished, without the star is $925.00
• The star is built out of wood and inlaid in the headboard for $275.00
• One nightstand built in oak is $535.00 – these have quicker access but still lock. They can store jewelry, handguns, a small rifle, or home defense shotgun.

I do not finish or stain any of my furniture as color and shade is hard to control on a custom basis.
