The Piper is an assisted living and memory care community located just west of the Legends Outlets in Wyandotte County offering an innovative living concept. The Piper features six independent households of 20 apartments each – four assisted living households and two memory care households. Each apartment has its own kitchen, living room and bedroom, and an open kitchen, formal dining room, parlor, den and sun porch are shared with the neighbors who live within the same household. Each household has its own unique theme and style, and is filled with the works of local artists.

The Piper was designed, developed and built by Assisted Living Associates, a partnership between PAR Development, Clarkson Construction Company and Action Pact, a Manhattan, KS based company specializing in senior living. Action Pact pioneered the Household Model, an innovative philosophy that embodies resident-directed life.
