I have been involved with the rescue community for 12 years. I founded two successful nonprofits and currently am the President and co-founder of Dallas Street Dog Advocates. DSDA's primary focus is to help the abandoned and stray street dogs in southern Dallas. I am a Registered Nurse but work in rescue full time. It's amazing how similar humans and dogs really are! I have dabbled in writing over the years in effort to share what I see. I am hopeful that my stories will impact Dallas and our surrounding cities and encourage people to adopt, donate and volunteer with DSDA.
