Tiffany Sunday is a poet and author with book sales in eight countries. She is internationally known for her 2015 TEDx Talk Dyslexia 2.0: The Gift of Innovation and Entrepreneurial Mind and frequently quoted passage from Dyslexia’s Competitive Edge.
Tiffany is the author of six books: To Be Human – Always, Proper Grey Areas, Insatiable Consumption of Being, How Dyslexics Will Rule the Future, Dyslexia’s Competitive Edge, and You Posted What!?
Her writing voice is distinctive and best described as eclectic as she transverses multiple nonfiction topics and poetry genres. Tiffany’s approach for the dyslexia books is straightforward, offering nonfiction readers informative chapters, thought-provoking perspectives, and usable strategies.
Tiffany’s poetry mirrors her renaissance personality. Her collections parallel many categories as readers navigate emotionally charged themes of love, grief, abuse, inequality, and being mindful of the impact of technology on humanity. Tiffany interweaves, within the rawness of these emotions, her love of nature, its beauty, and the solitude of simply being.
Tiffany started writing poetry in fourth grade. She attributes her early influences to her mother who taught high school Honors English and Literature, Emily Dickinson, and songwriter Stevie Nicks. Tiffany seeks inspiration from fellow authors, poets, and musicians. A handful of these individuals serve as her muse. For her, reading and writing are a luxury she never takes for granted.
Her articles have appeared in the Dallas Business Journal, Launch DFW, The Dyslexia Connection, Different Brains, The International Dyslexia Association, University of Michigan Dyslexia Help Blog, Noodle Education, and more.
Tiffany has appeared as a guest on CNN, WFAA-ABC, NBC5, KRLD, and quoted in Forbes, USA Today, The Dallas Morning News, Restaurant News, Austin-American Statesmen, Democrat & Chronicle, AccuWeather, and more.
