Santa serves cookies made by Magnolia Glen dining team wrapped in beautiful boxes and hot cocoa poured by request to local seniors

Magnolia Glen, a Kisco Senior Living community in Raleigh, recently held a drive-thru event inviting seniors in the area to stop by for holiday cookies and a warm hot cocoa with Santa, and served about 50 seniors in their cars! While Santa typically receives cookie treats, he and his helper elves made a special trip to Magnolia Glen to help them pass out specially-made holiday treats from the Magnolia Glen kitchen, wrapped up in beautiful boxes with bows, and delicious beverages to warm seniors who drove up to the Assisted Living entrance of the community that afternoon.

“As a community built around caring for seniors, we have been very fortunate to have a great team on staff and wonderful residents who have gotten through this year together,” says Jaime Pacheco, executive director of Magnolia Glen. “We recognize that some families in the area with seniors may not be as fortunate this year, so we are glad to provide some holiday cheer, warmth, and smiles to seniors outside of our community as well, in a safe way.”
