My name is Dr. Pratiksha Rigley, and my husband Noel and I are the proud owners of Primrose Schools of Frisco West, Klyde Warren Park, Park Cities, Plano at Preston Meadow, Prestonwood, Temple, and Waco at Woodway. I am eager for you to learn more about our Balanced Learning Approach when you visit our school. Prior to our Primrose journey, my husband and I welcomed two beautiful girls into our lives! Becoming parents was the start of understanding the importance of sharing milestones and precious moments with a select few. We knew that having care that would be a home away from home meant care that would help our children become individuals who could positively influence future generations. We felt our values should be standard at minimum, but unfortunately during our childcare search we were underwhelmed with our findings. When we found Primrose, our standards were not only met but surpassed!
Growing up in Zambia, I viewed education as a true luxury. I was afforded the gift of education at a young age, as I had the privilege to come to the United States for college at 18 years old. I graduated with my doctorate in pharmacy and began my career as a pharmacist, which led to my oversight of 34 pharmacies within my career! Our Primrose journey began when our oldest daughter Maya was born, but it wasn’t until the birth of our second daughter, Meira, that I decided to couple my experience in operations with my passion for education with the grand opening of our first Primrose School in 2008! Within that 12-year time span we have had the honor and privilege to become the proud owners of 7 schools. Although Noel and I are involved in every aspect of our schools, from the curriculum implementation to the menu, our highest priority is the health, safety and growth of our staff and students, as well as providing superior customer service to our families. In providing a home away from home for our families, I am truly living out my American Dream.
We are committed to making a difference in the communities we serve and are actively involved in supporting local foundations and charities. We also enjoy “traveling with a purpose.” Most recently, Noel and I have traveled to Myanmar and Zimbabwe, where we visited various schools. We particularly enjoy visiting schools across the world to deepen our understanding of education across cultures and to offer help to schools in need.
Noel and I are residents of Plano, Texas, where our family loves to spend time reading books across all genres, cooking family recipes, and going on walks with our dog Roxy, and traveling. Maya, our older daughter, graduated this spring from the University of Texas, where she double majored in government and history with minors in Business and English. Maya plans to attend law school next year. Our youngest daughter, Meira, will begin her freshman year as a Business major at The University of Texas this fall.
We hope you soon become a part of our family and that we can share in the joy of seeing your little one grow into a bright influencer of their generation!
Sincerely, Dr. Pratiksha Rigley
