The mission of Mid-Cities SOS is to assist SafeHaven of Tarrant County in its mission to end family violence: with financial support, through volunteer services, and by promoting community awareness of family violence.
Financial support of SafeHaven still remains the number one priority of Mid-Cities SOS. Our current fundraisers include the popular Celebrity Chefs event and the Annual Tennis Benefit. You will find up-to-date information about both of these events on our web site.
Since 1985, Mid-Cities SOS has grown in membership to over 100, and has provided financial support in excess of $1,900,000 to SafeHaven.
The energy and participation of our members, coupled with the support of the community ensures that SafeHaven will be able to provide the necessary support to the women and children who must escape violence at home.
